Short description of the tour: this attractive route will be appreciated by tourists who want to enjoy the natural sights and attractions of Georgia. You will visit many beautiful places: waterfalls, underground caves, alpine regions, sea coast. The tour program will be provided for short duration (maximum about 5 hours), it is a good balance, and it will allow you to get excellent impressions of this country.

Main and historical sights will be visited in Western Georgia. Our tourists will explore the history of the country. Transfer is carried out by comfortable and well equipped transport with air conditioning. This tour in Georgia is an appropriate trip for tourists of different ages (except of children under 8 years old).

Day 1. Arrival in Kutaisi - Bagrati temple - Gelati monastery

Duration of the excursion day: ~3 hours
Route length: ~40 km

Arrival in Kutaisi, meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Excursion to the temple of Bagrat, which is a symbol of the Golden Age of the country.
A visit to the Gelati Monastery, where the great Georgian king David the Builder is buried. Inspection of the frescoes of the monastery, which are considered the best in the Caucasus.
Return to Kutaisi.
Day 2. Prometheus cave - Martvili canyon - Upper Svaneti

Duration of the excursion day: ~10 hours
Route length: ~240 km

A walk through the cave of Prometheus, where you can admire the stalactites and stalagmites.
Boat tour of Martvili Canyon.
Transfer to the Upper Svaneti region, accommodation in Mestia at the hotel.
Day 3. Ushguli village

Duration of the excursion day: ~7 hours
Route length: ~100 km

Excursion to the highest mountainous village in Europe with a permanent resident population - the village of Ushguli (2200 meters), familiarity with the life of the population.
Return to Mestia.
Day 4. Transfer from Svaneti to the coast

Duration of the excursion day: ~6 hours
Route length: ~270 km

The first half of the day will remain freem If desired, additional excursions can be ordered on the spot: horseback riding, trekking with an escort, a ropeway ride, etc.
In the afternoon - transfer to the coastal region of Adjara, accommodation in Batumi at the hotel.
Day 5. Batumi city tour - Batumi botanical garden

Duration of the excursion day: ~6 hours
Route length: ~50 km

A sightseeing tour of Batumi by transport and on foot with a tour of the Batumi embankment, the Old Town, the Tower of the Georgian alphabet, moving figures of lovers Ali and Nino, etc.
A visit to the Batumi Botanical Garden, located on an area of 113 hectares, is a paradise in which more than 5 thousand plants are grown from around the world. For more than 100 years it has been simultaneously a place for tourists to rest and serious research by scientists.
Return to Batumi.
Day 6. Queen Tamar bridge - Makhuntseti waterfall - Transfer to Kutaisi

Duration of the excursion day: ~7 hours
Length of route: ~220 km

Inspection of the medieval bridge, built during the reign of the great Georgian queen Tamar (end of the 12th century). Visit to the beautiful waterfall of Makhuntsi 30 m high.

Transfer from Adjara to Kutaisi, accommodation at the hotel.
Day 7. Transfer to Kutaisi Airport

Transfer to Kutaisi Airport.

The study trip to Georgia for Finns learning the Russian language was simply wonderful! We received excellent service and spent time with outstanding guides (Saba and Dmitry). The hotels we stayed in were well-located and very comfortable. Batumi amazed us with its modern architecture and well-maintained promenade. The train journey from Batumi to Tbilisi was an incredible experience with stunning views. Visiting the wineries allowed us to get acquainted with Georgian wine traditions and enjoy tasting the local wine varieties. Uplistsikhe, the ancient cave city, impressed us with its architecture and history. The tours of Tbilisi and Mtskheta with the guide left us with vivid impressions. And what a wonderful gala dinner it was, where we had the opportunity to enjoy Georgian dances and songs and taste the delicious local cuisine! The organized excursions allowed us to immerse ourselves deeply in the cultural richness of Georgia. We left Georgia with wonderful memories and hope to return in the future.
